coimbatore: The fourth edition of International Bulding and Construction Fair would be held in Coimbatore in CODISSIA exhibition grounds from the 20th of February. The four-day fair called 'Build Intec-2009' would cover the entire gamut of construction industries and showcase the latest technological developments available in the field of construction, K Ilango, President, Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA), the organisers, told the reporters. There will be more than 200 stalls in indoor and some of heavy and earth moving equipment in outdoor area. Also on display would be tiles, building materials, furniture, interiors, sanitary and bathroom fittings, door and windows, roof and cladding, glass tiles, construction equipment, scaffolds, besides property developers, builders, land promoters and home loan issuing banks.A seminar on blended cements will be held on Feb 21 and one on construction materials will be held on on Feb 22 as concurrent events. According to D Balasundaram, Chairman of the event, the fair would attract more than one lakh potential visitors. He also said that it would attract builders, civil and structural engineers, contractors, architects and road contractors from the entire region and the neighbouring Kerala State.
