coimbatore: An Air Force Academia Meet 2009 on 'Production and Leadership Methods' in Indian Air Force
will be conducted at 5 Base Repair Depot, Air Force Sulur.  The meet is jointly initiated  by
Dr. R Radhakrishnan, Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Coimbatore and Air Commodore
PK Srivastava VSM, Air Officer Commanding, 5 Base Repair Depot, Air Force Sulur.  Initiative
taken by Air Commodore PK Srivastava VSM, will help Indian Air Force in useful assistance from
Academic Experts.  This will also bring awareness among academies about the management methods used in Armed Forces.
Dr. R Radhkrishnan is the first Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Coimbatore since the State
Government of Tamil Nadu established the University by an Act of Legislation in February  2007.
As Vice Chancellor of Anna University, he has introduced the plenty of UG and PG programmes for the time in India; in which M.Tech Programme in Nano Technology is one of the them.  Dr. Radhakrishnan received the Team-Tech 2007 International Conference Award of Excellence for Promotion Manufacturing Education in India.
Another fifteen to twenty heads of college/institution in and around Coimbatore is also invited
to attend the Air Force Academia Meet 2009.
