Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg
Red chillies - 20 (seeds removed)
Small onion - 300 gms
Tomato - 2 (chopped)
Perunjeeragam/Fennel -1 tsp
Patta/Cinnamon - 4 pieces
Lavang/cloves - 4
Whole Peppercorns - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 2-3 slits
Ginger-garlic paste - 3 tsp
Coriander powder - 5 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 2 (split)
Method -
In oil fry saunf,patta,lavang,curry leaves and pepper.Add onion and fry well.
Now add the ginger garlic paste,tomatoes,greenchilli,red chillies.
Fry well till the raw smell goes.
Add turmeric and coriander powders now and fry well.
finally add the chicken pieces and salt. Stil well and make sure the chicken pieces are well coated with the masala.
Fry till all the gravy evaporates.
