Civil Services (IAS, IPS) for +2 Students

The Second Board of Administrative Reforms headed by Veerappa Moily has recommended that Students passing +2 may also join the Civil Service Cadre after passing a three year course run by the government institute for Civil Services.

Where as, the UPSC will conduct an entrance test for the successful +2 students and will select the eligible candidates. They will pursue a 3 year civil service course in General Administration and Management in the Institute established by the Government for this. Examinations will be conducted at the end of the course and in accordance with the rank secured by the candidate civil service posts will be offered. 

If the recommendation of the Board is is accepted  by the Government  there is every chance of  +2 students get the opportunity of entering the civil services
